ircサーバ導入メモ(CentOS5)
リポジトリの追加
# rpm -Uvh http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-3.noarch.rpm
リポジトリを利用可能にするために下記のファイルを編集
/etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo
enabled=1 → enabled=0
yumでインストール
# yum --enablerepo=epel install ircd-hybrid
とりあえず起動してみる
# service ircd start
ログにエラーメッセージが
# tail -f /var/log/ircd/ircd.log [2009/4/6 13.53] Ignoring config file entry SID -- invalid SID. Aborting.
とりあえず設定項目が多いのでシンプルファイルをコピーする
mv /etc/ircd/ircd.conf /etc/ircd/ircd.conf.org cp /usr/share/doc/ircd-hybrid-7.2.3/simple.conf /etc/ircd/ircd.conf
serverinfoのsidを変更する
元のircd.confにあるようにsidは[0-9][A-Z0-9][A-Z0-9]
改めて起動してみる
# service ircd start
大丈夫そうなのでchkconfig
# chkconfig ircd on
